What rider's are saying about CSI pads ...
I puchased my first flex-plate pad last summer for my top barrel horse. I wasn't having any sorness issues, but I had a friend that gave me a really convincing testimonial about the difference it made for her barrel horse. Immediately after I ran with my new pad I noticed a tremendous difference in shoulder freedom , I was impressed. My horse finished out the season with the best turns she had ever made. This spring I started a race horse filly on the pattern with a really small felt pad so it wasn't as overwhelming to her back. After just 2 runs I thought I would try my CSI pad on her, the horse was as smooth as silk. I went around swearing that the pad made the differnce and people thought I was crazy. So I put the 5 Starr pad back on her and made another run, and she just wasn't the same. Then to conclude my experiment I put the CSI pad back on and just like magic it was an amazing transformation. These are great products and I have huge faith in them. — Charlotte Soltvedt
CSI's Extreme Performance Flex-Plate pad is awesome. It allows a good fit even on hard to fit horses. The design is a true innovation pad technology — way to go CSI. — Rhonda Martin, Performance Horse Consultant
I had the opportunity to compete in a colt starting competition in Paso Robles, CA. in Apri 2008l. During the first day of the competition, my colt was really bothered by me trying to put weight in the stirrup to mount. She acted as if the saddle was really causing some discomfort when I would try and stand up in the stirrup. She never let me on the first day. I came back the second day with a lilttle different approach and a CSI Flex-Plate pad. She came around really quickly, accepting my weight in the stirrup. I believe the CSI pad with the Flex-Plate really made a huge difference for that little filly. She and I went on to win the competition, Thanks CSI —your pads are incredible. If you wnat your horse to be comfortable under a saddle, I fully recommend CSI pads. You and your horse will feel the difference. — Kerry Kuhn, Clinican
I have been using CSI Pads exclusively for several years now and I have experienced firsthand the numerous therapeutic advantanges these pads offer. I have fewer back soreness issues and that has translated into better equine attitudes and fewer missed training days. I am sold on CSI Pads. — Sherman Tegtmeier, Reining Horse Trainer
I'm using the pad and Abetta endurance saddle on the little mare who is very broad and has no withers. The saddle never has fit Bint. None of my others do either. However, since we've been riding more, she has lost some weight and with the CSI pad, I'm not getting the dry spots any more. Whoopee. We did a 30 mile competitive ride a couple weeks ago, and she had the best pulse recoveries she has ever had, and the saddle stayed right where I put it. — mb
I have been using CSI Pads for quite some time now and really feel they are the pad of the future. They are good for the horse, durable, and just all around useful. I use them on everything from colts to seasoned roping horses. I fully recommend these pads to everyone who rides. — Scott Daily
I first saw the CSI pad at the Denver Stock Show & Rodeo in Jan '05. I marveled at its flexibility and lightness. It stuck in my mind for a couple of months until I met you again at the Horse Expo in Denver. I had to purchase one and I'm glad I did. I am a John Lyons Certified Trainer here in Littleton, CO. I ride many horses throughout the course of a day. Each horse is a different breed and come in all shapes and sizes. The CSI pad cleans easily between uses and fits every horse I've worked. As an added bonus, the light weight pad has helped a client of mine who has a hard time lifting other heavier pads. The contoured shape is magnificent as it stays off the withers. Many pads currently on the market come down across the withers causing added pressure on the horse's back. Each client I meet who sees this pad wants one too. I highly recommend the CSI pad to anyone who enjoys riding horses in any discipline. — Carolyn Kavinsky • John Lyons Certified Trainer
CSI Pads are great for my horse's back. They conform to the saddle and the horse for great fit. I have helped CSI make a pad that is specially designed for the Paso Fino — it is thin and gives you great "feel" of your horse. These pads are wonderful. — Carlos Tobon
Thank you so much for the western pads. Wow, what a difference it made in the horses. I am amazed how my saddle now fits 26 different horses and before I was having to use 2 pads for certain horses and now all the horses backs and withers are much better. We have cut our chiropractic bills in half. The horses have become so much more balanced in their movement. Scot and I both have back problems and since I have had my pad I have not had any problems at all. Scot's have been cut in 1/2 of what he used to hurt. — Lynn MacGregor
My name is Kasey and I met you Saturday at Equine Affaire. I came to see you after my friend Kelly called me to tell me she bought your saddle pad at the event and was impressed with the demo. I am not a big fan of the "latest & greatests" , so I tracked down Ryan Gingerich at his booth to get an "in the field" perspective from someone who has used these saddle pads, after speaking with him I decided I'd try it. Terry and I bought one, and on Sunday I rode my mare, a 6yr old AQHA Super Bitch(due to back soreness)......and the difference in the freedom of motion in her shoulders was nothing short of amazing! Better yet is the fact that my body was not as stiff or sore when I was done riding. You have an amazing product!! I ride and work with quite a number of horses ranging in age and issue as well as with riders in the same situation. I would love to help get this product out there to more people and horses. — Kasey
I have been saddle fitting for over 10 years now and have not had a reasonable place to send people for a good saddle pad system until now....I HAVE USED YOUR PERFORMANCE PAD WITH FLEXI'S FOR OVER 2 YEARS NOW AND I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT.....most of all it's easy for the layman to use.....there are other saddle pad systems on the market that are good but can be quite difficult especially if changin from horse to horse but your CSI Extreme Performance pad is simple.....KODOS TO YOU AND GOD BLESS.....OH AND ALL THOSE HURTING HORSES THAT JUST HAD NO IDEA WHY THEIR OWNER WANTED TO TORTURED THEM NOW SAY THANKS......Tami Yeager
CSI pads came to my attention through a friend who told me how great they were. He is showing in ranch horse competitions and told me of the positive results. I decided to purchase one of your western saddle pads about six months ago, and I too have been impressed with the results. In fact, my husband uses the pad on his horse; and, not long after beginning to use it, he commented that he no longer gets sore from riding. I attribute this directly to the pad, because nothing else has changed - the horse is the same, the saddle is the same, but the saddle pad changed. My husband and I have a small farm in North Carolina and just recently opened it to a few boarders, which means I have a website now. I have added your company's website to my links page and wanted to let you know. http://horsegatefarm.com/ — Diane Horton
I started using the CSI pad at the beginning of the year in 2007; I had heard great things about them but could not find one. We saw one at one of the horse fairs and they told us where the booth was. As it turned out a friend of ours Ken Harrup was involved with selling them and we didn’t even know it. I put it on my 3 good horses and could just feel the difference in their movement. They were more relaxed and could still feel me as well. It is the only pad that I use now and I own 4 of them. I have three geldings that I run and I use ½ inch on one, ¾ on another, and the inch one the last one. I feel that they really do cut down on the wear and tear on their back. — Julie Erkamaa, WPRA Rookie of the Year
